"We also see matte finishes with fluted glass or satin glass in display cabinets. It can also be darker," says Natascha Beha, Marketing Manager and trend expert at hansgrohe.
The interior of the kitchen furnishings is also being upgraded. Marcel Mei: "Drawers are once again being fitted with elegant oak inlays. Real wood can also be found in high-quality kitchen accessories, the kitchen floor and wall coverings."

The high-quality materials speak for themselves: Kitchen design remains minimalist-modern in 2026. "This restrained design is then paired with special details such as rounded corners on the worktop, a striking colour or even a statement or round sink," says Marcel Mei.

With indirect kitchen lighting you create a pleasant atmosphere that makes the kitchen feel even more like a living room.
