Are all shower channels installed the same way?

There are two different types of installation:

  • Installation on the screed: For RainDrain Flex
  • Installation in the screed: For RainDrain Match and Rock. As these two product ranges can be tiled, a certain installation depth is required to install the shower channel at the right height.

Can every pre-fab set be shortened on site?

Only products in the RainDrain Flex and Rock lines can be shortened.

  • The RainDrain Flex line can be shortened as desired, as the water drains on the surface, not along an internal channel.
  • With the RainDrain Rock line, the cover can be shortened up to 50 mm on each side. When doing so, please ensure that the correct cutting disc (INOX) is used in accordance with the installation manual.
  • The RainDrain Match pre-fab set has a fixed length, as this product range has a fixed drain length installed in the screed.
