Our faucet category for the bath tub is pretty varied. Exposed installation designs are great if the connections are already in place, as they offer a quick and easy way to refresh your bathroom. With concealed installation, the technology vanishes within the wall, so you can enjoy a harmonious look and lots of room to move. Use the images on this page as inspiration!
It depends on the type of bath tub, your design preferences and your bathroom’s design concept. Here are a few facts and suggestions to keep in mind when making your choice:
A tall floor-standing bath tub faucet looks fantastic alongside a freestanding bath tub. If your bath tub is installed by the wall or in the corner, you have a couple of installation options:
Want every aspect of the design to be speaking the same language? No problem! If you have already chosen a hansgrohe lavatory faucet or shower faucet, we also have the bath tub faucet to match. Because we design all our ranges holistically with the entire bathroom in mind. So that you can create a coherent and consistent look.
We recommend choosing faucets in the same FinishPlus surface finish. The versatile hansgrohe color scheme consists of Polished Gold Optic or Brushed Bronze, Matte Black or Matte White, Brushed Black Chrome or classic Chrome. Add color-coordinated showers and bathroom accessories for beautiful bathroom design.
When you use your hansgrohe bath tub faucet, we want it to feel as smooth as silk. With our user-friendly single-hole bath tub faucets, setting your desired temperature and water flow is so convenient to do. We also offer other comfort features, which you can specify in your product search by using the filter function. For example:
A bath tub thermostat allows you to pre-set how warm the bath water should get. It can also activate a temperature lock at, say, 40 degrees Celsius. This hot-water block offers reliable protection against unpleasantly hot water or even scalding. The bath tub thermostat has a control unit that mixes the water and keeps the pre-set temperature constant, even when the pressure fluctuates. A bath tub faucet, by contrast, does not have this kind of control unit: You need to regulate the temperature yourself and adjust the settings when there are fluctuations.
Exposed installation bath tub faucets are ideal if there are already connections in place. These faucets are designed to be installed quickly and easily – a practical solution for quick replacements. Concealed installation models have a harmonious look as the technology vanishes within the wall. These flush installations are space-saving and are therefore great for small showerplaces. They are also a good choice if you value minimalist design and seamless integration in your bathroom.
Gently wipe it with a soft cotton cloth to remove most of the dirt on your faucet without damaging the material. Please do not use stainless steel scouring pads, brushes or microfiber cloths. If you have to use cleaning products, it is best to use a mild one containing citric acid – and thoroughly rinse with clean water after cleaning. Please do not apply the concentrate directly onto the faucet: Spray it on a cloth instead. You can find more cleaning recommendations here.
Many hansgrohe faucets – and shower heads – also feature QuickClean technology for quickly and easily rubbing off limescale. There are flexible silicone nozzles on the aerator of the faucets – or the jets of the showers – to make cleaning child’s play. This removes residue as if by magic, so you always benefit from a full spray experience.
Please clean the diverter’s pull rod and O-ring and lubricate them with silicon grease. This will help the O-ring to slide and provide additional sealing. If the problem persists, please replace the diverter. You can find more information in the hansgrohe Spare Parts Shop.
If you have an acrylic bath tub with a bath tub trim of at least 8 cm, you can split your bath tub faucet into its separate design elements and install them side by side in the trim. This creates an elegant and user-friendly look. A 2- or 3-hole rim-mounted bath tub faucet features a bath tub filler with one or two controls. Want a bath tub faucet with a shower head in the bath tub trim? This is a good idea, as your hand shower is then always within reach. Opt for a rim-mounted bath tub faucet with a 3- or 4-hole design here. With this solution, the shower hose disappears out of sight in the bath tub trim. A hansgrohe sBox bath tub base set installed under the trim allows the hand shower to smoothly slide out. It’s then tidily stowed away here after use.
