Do you want your shower to gently embrace you? Or should it give you a blissful massage? Do you want a boost of freshness in the morning or a relaxed spa-like moment in the evening? Our researchers at the hansgrohe spray laboratory work tirelessly to transform water into your perfect medium. Scroll to read about all the different hansgrohe spray modes.
Here’s a fact to blow your mind: When we shower, the water makes contact with around 5,000 sensory cells per square centimeter of our skin. We feel the temperature, size, and speed of every drop. And we feel it differently in our face, our fingertips, our shoulders, our knee pits. We clearly notice what feels nice – and it differs from person to person. That’s why the hansgrohe spray laboratory pours all its passion into developing individual spray modes to pamper everyone’s skin.
This is where the precious element of water is transformed into your personal wellness medium. After all, not all droplets are the same. The hansgrohe spray laboratory experts have developed all the different openings so that the water can flow out of your shower as microfine droplets or intense sprays. All spray modes with “Air” in their name are enriched with air to give them an even fuller feel.
The number and layout of the openings on your shower head determine how many and which sprays you can enjoy. There are even spray modes that make the water move in circles, including the Whirl spray mode.
The researchers in our spray laboratory also work on the water’s spray properties. Light and airy droplets, like you get in the PowderRain spray mode, or plumper drops, like you get in the RainAir spray mode, glide across the skin. In other words, the water stays where it should and smoothly flows across your body. You can also check out our hansgrohe sound laboratory – we don’t just work on getting the feel of the water right, we also work on its sound.
Consuming less water is simple – just turn off the faucet. The real challenge lies in creating an extraordinary showering experience with intelligent technology.
