2019 Red Dot Award: Making it rain with awards for hansgrohe

Not even on the shelves yet and they’ve already won awards: Three new hansgrohe innovations receive the 2019 Red Dot Award, one of which won the ultimate Red Dot “Best Of The Best” prize. This is an honour and a joy for the premium brand from the Black Forest. Especially as the coveted award only ever goes to products and ranges with extremely high-quality design.

The Red Dot Award: one of the most prestigious design awards in the world

The Red Dot Award: Product Design, which was first handed out back in 1955, seeks out the best products of the year. Manufacturers and designers from around the world can submit their designs to the 48 categories in the competition: Fashion and accessories, consumer electronics, vehicles, domestic appliances and furniture all get a look-in. The Red Dot Jury is a panel of 40 or so international experts. Whereas the boffins vary from year to year, one thing always remains the same: They all commit to the Code of Honour, and do not judge any products that they helped to create.
