Green Company: Hansgrohe is a sustainable company

Environmental and climate protection are top priority

As a “champion of the value of water”, Hansgrohe is a “green” company by conviction. And by tradition. Since the 1980s, the Black Forest bathroom specialist has been developing more and more products that save water and energy. Moreover, this industry pioneer is treading the path of sustainability in all areas of business, and setting standards with its environmentally friendly concepts. A steering committee made up of company executives and heads of department sees to it that the company objectives are accomplished, and that they are measurable.

Sustainability goals - among other things, the Hansgrohe Group aims, during the period from 2010 - 2014*, worldwide:

  • to reduce the water consumption of its products in their utilisation phase and at its sites by ten percent;
  • to reduce direct CO2 emissions by 20 percent;
  • to use ten percent less hazardous materials in the production process

*The reference value is the total weight of the products sold. Reference year 2010.
