Hansgrohe SE invests around €30 million in a new plastic electroplating facility at its production site in Offenburg, Germany

Hansgrohe SE continues its expansion course and is again investing in its site in Offenburg, Germany. The mixer and shower manufacturer’s Supervisory Board has decided to build a new plastic electroplating facility with an investment of about EUR 30 million at the company’s existing production site in Offenburg. “Our new electroplating facility will strengthen our competitive edge and create capacity for further growth,” says Thorsten Klapproth, Chairman of the Executive Board of Hansgrohe SE. “We are firmly committed to the region and to Germany because this is where our employees have the highest level of expertise.” Construction is scheduled to begin in 2017. The electroplating facility will be built between the two existing production halls. It is scheduled to go into operation in late 2019.
