“Shower Moments”: Hansgrohe Calendar 2015

Twelve sensual motifs symbolising water, freedom and the quiet bliss of nature were created on the Swedish archipelago island of Dalarö

The passion for water and a sublime romantic backdrop encountered the fine art of photography: the Hansgrohe Calendar for the coming year unites these attributes within a sensual series of pictures. The renowned photographer Serge Guerand translates the aesthetics of showering into exceptional images with his photographs. For “Shower Moments” he captures moments of freedom and joy — showering moments during which one cannot imagine being surrounded by water and one is completely within oneself. For the 12th year in a row the fittings and shower specialist Hansgrohe SE from the Black Forest has published an artistic photo calendar. It was displayed for the first time at a private view on November 27 in the Hansgrohe Aquademie.

For the shoot the German-French calendar team, under the leadership of Joachim Huber, Head of Marketing Communications Hansgrohe, chose a location which was far away from everyday constraints: the Swedish archipelago. This special landscape consists of a group of many small islands which were created during the Ice Age from the ice sheets of Scandinavia and North America. They are characterised by flowing harmonious forms. The shoot for the 2015 calendar took place on the island of Dalarö, one of the small rocky islands of the archipelago situated about 20 kilometres south-east of Stockholm.
