The largest proportion of these consisted of procurements of production materials. The largest production site is in Germany, followed by China, USA, France and Netherlands. Due to the expansion of international sites, global sourcing will continue to gain in importance. As a part of the Corporate Logistics Operations, Purchasing forms a basis for meeting the ever-increasing demands in the supply chain. Together with suppliers, we work out the basis for optimizing customer satisfaction. We achieve this by means of a high level of adherence to deadlines and reliability of supply, fair prices and the quality, which is essential to our products. |
