And Hansgrohe AG, headquartered at Schiltach/Black Forest, has garnered what may be a record ten nominations, making it a genuine contender for the highest design accolade awarded in Germany. At the corporate head office in Schiltach, enthusiasm about these nominations is high: no fewer than three of the nominations are for the Axor Citterio M collection, which this year has already earned two “iF gold” awards and one “red dot: best of the best” award. “Award-winning design,” according to Philippe Grohe, Head of the Axor designer brand, “represents perfection in design, and hence for the ultimate in formal, functional and emotional quality.
