Schiltach, June 2008. From 14 June to 14 September, the EXPO 2008 in Saragossa, Spain is preoccupied with the issue of “Water and sustained development”. The German Pavilion fascinates its visitors with a multimedia trip through the world of water as well as presenting forward-looking developments from Germany. And right in the thick of things: Hansgrohe AG from Schiltach in the Black Forest. The bathroom and sanitation specialist of international renown is namely a partner to the German Pavilion. Under the motto of “Wunderbar” (wonderful), the German Pavilion transports visitors to this year’s EXPO into the fascinating world of water. On a 120-metre raft trip, visitors are taken into virtual worlds where they can discover groundwater caves and a labyrinth of water pipes leading into the Kölner Bucht. Back “on land” again, a multimedia show with high tech live provides information on the latest developments in industry and research – an area which is also represented by products from Hansgrohe.
