At Hansgrohe AG, all good things don’t come in threes but, for a change, in 300s: it is the number of design awards the bathroom and sanitation specialists in the Black Forest can now call their own. The latest addition to what by now is a trophy cabinet filled to bursting at the Schiltach-based company is the Axor Urquiola wash bowl, which was awarded the coveted international “Focus Gold” design prize of the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg. Other impressive performers in this highly regarded competition were the wash basin mixers from PuraVida and Axor Urquiola, which each won a “Focus Silber” award. “These awards confirm once again that Hansgrohe is the uncontested leader in creative design,” Philippe Grohe, head of Axor, the Designer brand of Hansgrohe AG, was delighted to point out. “They also show just how multi-faceted and beneficial the impulses generated in our intensive collaborations with international star designers like Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio, Patricia Urquiola, Jean-Marie Massaud and Phoenix Design really are. They allow us to successfully launch new market trends again and again.”
