Hansgrohe Group

Schiltach, September 2009. Unperturbed by current general world economic conditions, Hansgrohe AG, headquartered in Schiltach/Black Forest, Germany, continues its international expansion. Through the establishment of a subsidiary in Mexico City, the business is intensifying its activities in one of the largest single markets in Latin America. “Along with our trading partners in Mexico, we have experienced continuous growth over the past ten years,” says Siegfried Gänsslen, who chairs the board of Hansgrohe AG, “and the potential remains enormous. One year on from the establishment of our subsidiary in Argentina we are convinced that this is the right point in time to strengthen our presence in Latin America and to provide even more intensive support to our local partners.” Through this strategic investment, Hansgrohe AG once again presents itself as “one of the most active businesses within the bathroom product sector when it comes to internationalization.” The business had already launched subsidiaries in Australia, Croatia and South Africa in the spring. The establishment of additional subsidiaries is at the preparation stage.
